Barb and I are sitting here on a beautiful Saturday morning, sipping coffee, and talking about an impending trip to River Falls. We are anticipating being there on Saturday morning, April 18...
Suddenly I had a thought (you all know how those thoughts come to me... random patterns... is that oxymoronish or what??). How fun would it be to get our friends together for a latte or two in River Falls, as an homage to spring... anticipation of summer... and in fond memory of past meetings of the Lavandula Garden Club!!
An idea was hatched! The wellspring was opened!! I am smiling and chuckling all the while I'm typing into this new blog I've started, just for this occasion!!
Alright, here's the plan:
- Who's invited? Anyone who used to attend our Lavandula Garden Club Meetings (remember how highly organized they were?)
- What are we going to do? Drink coffee, have breakfast if you want... bring pictures of your yard/flowers to share, and a package of seeds to trade
- When? Saturday, April 18, 8am - yes, you can all drag your butts out of bed that early!
- Meeting place? - Dish and Spoon Cafe (Main St., River Falls)
No need to RSVP, but just come if you can... wear your favorite gardening hat!
